I really dislike the remake/reboot art style to the original. They look pretty but like, they look like living dolls.

They tried to copy the artstyle of Naoko Takeuchi. Which frankly doesn't lend itself terribly well to an animated format, as proven here.

And because the first two arcs ended up sucking so badly Toei came to the conclusion that was solely to blame (instead of the piss-poor writing) so did a radical retool for the third one to try and make it look closer to the 90s series in a desperate attempt to try and leech of nostalgia.

Still sucked though.
