The reason Blue was affected is because she's got super hearing. All of them have an enhanced sense, except yellow.

Red (Yamato/Eagle) gets sight. Blue (Sela/Shark) gets hearing. White (Amu/Tiger) gets taste. Green (Tusk/Elephant) gets smell.

Yellow (Leo/Lion) instead gets a really loud shout.
