Much to my own embarrassment, it has become apparent that after multiple incidents, I seem to have lost complete control of my continence. Along with that, I've been finding myself forgetting what is rudimentary for my field and as a functioning adult. At first, it was inconsequential, but lately, it's been more glaring. It has affected my productivity and called into question my reliability. Special Agent Mulder has, in his own way of helping, brought up several theories and stories, all of them absurd.

He was especially insistent of an account about a little girl from the late 1690's, who had grown up over a few weeks into full adulthood while another in the village had shown some form of mental regression. Of course, at the time plenty of girls and women were being accused of witchcraft, yet it was factually nothing of the sort. Obviously, this girl had an unexpected growth spurt, while the other must have had some kind of late stage dementia. I'm sure there is a more sound explanation for my current situation.
