Detour: My impression was that the second coin (in the upper corner) is the same coin from her POV, so accidental self-hypnosis. I could be wrong.

The most likely interpretation is that it's the POV of someone who's turning the tables on her with their own coin, since there's no indication of a mirror and the first image looks like she's trying to hypnotize the viewer.
