*This is the most extensive story I have ever told.
The Gold-Eating Bison
A five-man band of thieves who operated in the Empire.
The tattoo on their left hand is the sign of being a member of the troupe.
The female member of the group became aware of the value of the ore from the emperor's movements around the time the new emperor was inaugurated. At the suggestion of one of its members, the band of thieves switched sides to become a burglary squad. Their intentions may have been misguided, but they weren't so nave as to let such a lucrative venture, the magic stones, slip through their hands.

The thieves were guilty of a number of other crimes and should have been executed.
However, in accordance with the wishes of His Imperial Majesty, they were all deemed to be useful human resources and were treated as such.
All five succeeded in producing adequate results.
For the time being, these five were to be mainly female soldiers who could easily communicate with each other.
