Are you sure the link in the source is the same as the artist who created this? The video doesn't show up on their page and there's no 3D animation anywhere on it, just 2D illustrations.

...Also, did the ghosts murder her Ghostbuster friends?

Yes. That symbol is for Shirami, who has no centralized location where they post their content, as they encourage posting their content wherever people want to. Newgrounds is generally where they are.

And yeah, I'm pretty sure the actual ghostbusters are dead, the rookie is dead in spirit (as is true of most mind control content), and they seem to be erasing the idea of her from existence, as hinted by the photo at the end.
