I like to think this is good, but I seek opinions. At least it better than my whitewash work

I agree With you, it is better than Your whitewash manip, good too see the borders are alot cleaner in this one. I think I would still try and either clean them up a little tad more (Could also just be the image beein in low res) and/or make the border orund them alittle smaller, this varies from what style the image has, but maybe try making them just a tad smaller. I would also not make an empty eyes manip With the eyes beeing in just one solid color. Look at Your profile Picture for example (Trying to look past the spirals), as you can see it is a gradient With the lightest part in the bottom of the eye and getting gradually darker. It also can make for a Nice effect to see a dull pupil or just some other form of detail in the eye.

Other than that its Nice, you are improving and that is good, keep going and you'll get the hang of it real soon
