I love how he did drink the love potion, but by the time the effects kicked in, he had already gotten her. I guess this is what happens when you magically make someone fall in love with you, but also give them control over you. It would be cool to see more scenarios like that, both accidental like this, as well as planned by someone who wants to be controlled.
