This is gonna be a bit mean, but I honestly don't give a shit: some artist in not only this community, but every fetish community, massively overcharge for their work, and Crisp is a prime example. This commission cost over $100, and it is sloppy on so many levels. The outline is weightless, the backgrounds are shoddy, the colors and shading are dull, most of the drawing is flat and lifeless, the one frame of kaa's face looks really awkward, the hair is in a completely different style than the rest of the piece...
I understand that you are paying an artist for their time, ability, and talent, but I really don't believe this piece equates to the attached pricetag. It's a shame, too, because they clearly care and have talent. They have a strong sense of anatomy, they understand the flow of a comic, and they do a pretty solid job with facial expressions (on people). I just wish they would take a step back and realize that there are far more accomplished artists in the fetish community who charge half of what they do. It's a shame, I wanna see them improve and make more art, but man do some people vastly overestimate the value of their abilities.
You're kidding, right? First of all, this project is made up of twelve panels. If it costed a flat hundred, that's about eight dollars a panel. Maybe don't commission a two page comic next time. Second of all, this isn't LukaE slacking off my guy. This is exactly the art style you should expect out of her, so I dunno what exactly you're going on about. Frankly, you're taking out your buyer's remorse on someone working as intended.
I'm gonna be blunt too, because this kind of pressure is why I've consistently turned down commission offers and have always drawn pro bono. And speak for yourself about fetish communities. The furries have a reputation of treating commissioned artists very well for humoring their strange requests.
Never said that I think she is slacking off or purposely putting out bad work, rather I think that their work isn't worth the price. Also, not my commission, so I don't know what the final price was. I do think they are talented, I just think there is a lot of room to grow and that their prices are really high considering what other artists do for less.

Thanks for making it publicly known that no one should be taking commissions from you
