Just for fun, I'll share my additional notes that I took when I thought up the Empty Box.
* No one knows what's actually in the Empty Box, as those who peer inside never remember what they saw and recording devices such as cameras capture only a black void that swallows all light that enters it.
* Removing the Empty Box from the field of view of the entranced does not break the trance. Experiments were conducted that show that the entranced will stay entranced until the Empty Box is closed or destroyed. No matter their distance from the Empty Box, if one of the release conditions are met, the entranced will suddenly come to.
* The Empty Box can only entrance one person at a time.
* If one were to try to reach into the Empty Box to find out what is inside, they will find themselves irresistibly compelled to pull their hand away from the Empty Box's entrance. There is no known way to resist this compulsion.
* The Empty Box was developed by an elusive man who goes by the initials V.L. and is head researcher of HypnoHub's Hypnosis Investigation and Production Division Number 0, also known as HIP-N0.
