Honestly, given the way she's acting the fact that she 'happened' to have a dream of Kaa on her 21st birthday, and how she inexplicably trusts the snake who clearly tried to eat her, I pretty much interpreted that she's acting on some triggers.

Like Kaa told her to come back when she turns 21 so she'll be a nice, big meal, and implanted feelings of longing, pleasure, and a willingness to trust him.

In other words, I think she's already acting out hypnotic triggers when the video even starts.
