Honestly everyone, this arc is only here to indulge a fantasy about a bossy dom playing with her brainwashed boys. If that doesn't appeal to you, you're just not the target audience for this one, and that's okay.

Becca is just a character I love to hate.
I wouldn't want the story to cater to me or anyone specifically unless the creator feels inspired to do so.

But, yes, going back through the comments it can be easy to feel there is some weird hostility towards Becca. I'd chalk it up to you being one of the most consistent posters on here in recent memory with a long-running story. That increases the likelihood of people coming across it even if it's not what they usually read. Some (like me) find it entertaining despite it not being their usual thing, others will blacklist the tags they don't like and move one, but unfortunately others will blithely ask the story to cater to their tastes. For what it's worth, I reckon they are genuinely invested, just not quite sure what to make of it since it's not what they usually read.
I say you should do what you want, write what you like, and don't worry about the haters. It's easier to hate on something and try suggest how it can change to fit what you're used to than express why you like it for being different.

@hypnofan100 I mean, she's the protagonist of this side of the series and generally meant to come across positively, so hating on her does come across as hating on the story, even if it's not supposed to look that way.

I understand she's the protagonist but that doesn't mean she isn't the villain here. I am completely aware that morality and this fetish don't tend to mix well, so I also understand if my condemnation of Becca may seem selective.
But as you said, Becca is meant to be portrayed favorably here, which confuses me to no end. How am I meant to root for Becca for breaking free of mind control and then in the same breath root for her when she subjects everyone else to the very same mind control she condemns?
I find it so odd that Becca can go on and call what she suffered abuse when she's talking to arguably two of the most abused characters in the whole series here.
The reason why the other protagonist, the old Master doesn't draw my ire is because...he can't help it. He's a hypnosub as much as the rest of his harem. Becca made sure of that. There was nothing he could have done to free Carmen or Wendy. Meanwhile, Becca went out of her way to enslave Arden, Harry, and Tasha.
I think if the series had not been written so well, I would probably not feel as strongly about her as I do. But given that this series frequently delves into the more interesting aspects of identity and mind control, I can't help but approach it from a more analytical perspective.
I don't hate this series, its creator, or its content. I love all of the above. I just hate Becca for being a hypocrite and am hoping she gets some comeuppance.
