I fail to see the MC in this picture. Aside from the outfit, this seems like standard Lucina faire...

I admit, I'm exaggerating, but...this almost feels like PC Lucina to me...

...almost...

EDIT: TBH, I'm just a longtime FE fan that's a little sad that Awakening is what got all my friends to get into Fire Emblem...perosnally, I was disappoint with the game...

honestly, what really killed it for me was the stat caps...unlike most people, I don't WANT to be able to hit for 100+ damage...

There were several issues with it before: Fire Emblem games that don't allow grinding have a very deep metagame, because ultimately you have limited EXP. There's only so much leveling that can be done with so many characters, so many opportunities to have support convos to get that one couple together. In Awakening you can do it all, which feels good at first, but then you realize, why should i bother to play again? To pair everyone back up again?

The game is well put together, but the metagame is lacking.

so much exp my ass - I abused the arenas :P

even before playing it, though, I missed the low numbers...that's what always made me love the game - hitting for 20 damage being a powerful strike...now it's a joke...

As much as I loved that they were bringing back FE4's breeding mechanics, I still feel somehow...ripeed off...

that's why i specified the games that didn't allow grinding, like Fire Emblems 9 and 10, arena free (bonus EXP, but even that was limited)
