Artist Commentary:

The idea behind Penny and Parker as characters was just "Let's make two people that love each other so much, complete each other, and feel totally comfortable expressing themselves when they are together." and I'm really happy with that decision and all the stories that I've come up with around that.

Their relationship isn't perfect, they fight, they get on each other's nerves, and they make mistakes. But they want to make this work, so they do everything they can to make sure it does.

And I guess I can go into more details about their relationship today since it wouldn't be a Brushie hypnovember prompt without multiple paragraphs of lore lol.

So after they met in a cafeteria in one of my old Q&A posts, they became friends, stayed in touch, and hung out every now and then. There wasn't really a visible transition point from friends to lovers, they just kinda did what they always did and one day realized that they made each other happy in a special way.

They moved in together into Penny's apartment (mostly to save on rent) and made it homier. They pretty much live like a married couple. Parker makes breakfast while Penny takes a bath, and they start their day together, Penny drives Parker to work (He doesn't have a license), and then goes to her job after dropping him off, they text each other cute nothings over the day.

After their shifts, Penny goes to pick up Parker (Or he goes home by himself if he's working overtime.) and they prepare for dinner, maybe watch a movie. It's just a cozy simple life, with a fun helping of hypnotism mixed in~

Don't know where to throw this in but they're also both fine keeping the relationship open, doesn't really matter to either of them if the other sleeps with someone else. Hell, if Parker came back home and caught Penny in the middle of something he'd be chill and just cook a third portion of what's for dinner while they finish up, and if it was Penny... well, she'd probably join in, unless it's Charlotte trying to hit on Parker.

They do wanna get married eventually, it's just not really on their minds. I mean, all their co-workers assume they're married and are always surprised to discover they aren't lol.

They just know at the end of the day, they're just the most comfortable with each other, and nothing's gonna change that, so it can wait.

(And last tidbit cuz I never know when I'm gonna throw this in, Penny is Bisexual and Parker is Straight)
