Terra is one of my favorite FF girls almost solely because of her wearing the slave crown in the beginning of the game. Funny how my interest in her grew out of that alone. I don't even LIKE FF6, as I felt it was bland (yes, I know, it was considered one of the best FF games - so sue me).

I blame FF5. It was the first FF I played that had the job change system. No older FF could impress on me after that unless it also had the job system. If I hadn't played 4 before it, I'd probably have ended up not even liking that one, and it's one of my favorites.

And I was wondering if you would chime in, given your name. :P

That name was just terrible localization and you know it. :P And unofficial, I might add.
