It's funny that every ai image on this site also has some of the worst writing I've ever seen attached. I'm noticing a pattern.

Blacklisting AI content is easy. And despite what I assume you believe, creating it is surprisingly not.

Was aiming for some arrogant jerk kind of tone/vibes with these one-liners to mix it up. Always open to feedback/suggestions.

Given how much pushback there always seems to be against AI just by default, I want to offer my support that I've really, really enjoyed your recent work with AI, HypnosisIsGreat. This one is no exception, although 200783 turned out like a masterpiece to me. I really enjoyed the different iterations of the Wizard and the Maiden, too, but it's all been great.

Thanks. I've been tearing through a lot of them in a short time since I've got years of half finished manips and ideas and the AI tooling lets me finally get them to a complete enough stage in a short enough time that I can be free of them.

I'd understand the pushback if this were content being positioned in some kind of competition with artist's work, but to me these are really just narratives being roughly sketched out, and AI happens to be really good at filling in vague details of a sketch with patterns of pixels that are convincing unless you study it too closely.

Ironically enough, I'm in this exact boat: I'm new at writing, and thus, my production is far from the best I could achieve with more practice, which I'm taking right now just for fun.
However, just because I'm using AI as the basis, I keep getting so much critique around... well, pretty much everything (especially details for things I tried to fix). It's funny how the entire Mickey Mouse club can have four fingers, and people started complaining only now, huh?), even on things I'm not using AI for (like writing), although I could. Sucks, because I can always use some good advise from people with more experience than me but eh...

Also DON'T remind me of "vague details of a sketch with patterns of pixels that are convincing unless you study it too closely", Hyp... I'm having a seizure every time I get a blasted detail not right, and I'm still ATROCIOUS at using inpaint to the point where I decided Krita was a better choice.

But aside from all that, great work. Not a big fan of chubby characters, but I do like the vibe and the style you choose.

Also, I wish I could do the same cool fonts and balloons as you: teach me, senpai.

Text is just basic text in Photoshop with a pillow emboss applied. The bubbles though I draw last and do basic cloud shading by hand then run them through an img2img inpaint with high de-noising around .65 with the prompt "speech bubble" which makes them stylistically match better.

I use Stable Diffusion through the Automatic1111 server and web interface. I also use the Photoshop plugin that talks to the server so you can use it directly there.

There is a forum thread on it (id is 106515) where a few others are discussing their workflow. I'm using older models and interfaces because it runs faster and I can iterate more but newer models and interfaces might be better if you just want to try to go from a prompt straight to a higher quality image and aren't interested in compositing and doing things like inpainting or img2img to get more consistent image variations or more unique poses.
