when it comes to chess the safest option is always "yes you are stupid" cause fucking nobody really understands chess, like even chess masters don't exactly understand chess they just go by the book moves, which is why it's a common theory in chess that a complete newbie could defeat a grandmaster by just having a completely eractic pattern of moves that overwhelm and confuse the grandmaster to the point where their brains get slower than a low-end computer with several chrome tabs open

Yeah, this isn't even slightly how chess works. If it was reversed (pawn turning into queen) it would be closer, but there's no side-switching in chess, so it'd have to be either a black pawn or a white queen.
