There needs to be a better way to make the visual effect of a chat scrolling on the side... I manually assembled and edited in 25 separate images to make it... It took two hours alone. X_X

I didn't understand what was happening at first. But this was absolutely amazing!

Thanks, and yeah, the beginning I was a bit worried about; if people might mistake it for a real apology video for a moment before it gets to the first change. xD

For the chat you could try animating a loop of comments from users, and then splice it up and put it on a loop? Then overlay that animation on top of the rest of the video? Im very stupid so idk if that would work but I have to imagine theres a way to do that or randomly generate chat from a pool of phrases you want included

I'm not sure what you mean by loop, but you mentioned randomly generated text so I'm guessing you're thinking of a random text generator on loop? I actually had a deliberate script for the chat I needed to put together; if you read along with it, there's a story arc taking place in the chat at the same time.

@Changer I don't know if it's what Misty intended, but I was thinking - make a single rectangle that's got the entire chat script, a good bit taller than the video, and put it behind the frame decorations at the top and bottom of the chat window. Then just move it up every time there's a new message.

I did consider that, though the video editor I use is a bit finicky about that... The keyframe editor seems like it's super unstable and wildly unexpected things happen constantly while I'm using it. Sometimes jumping to totally different parts of the timeline randomly while I'm working, or adding new keyframes out of nowhere that mess things up.

x_x I need to get and learn a newer and more stable editor at some point but I am already trying to learn Unity right now and do not have the extra brain power to spare on learning another thing...
