It was the source of a long debate in the elf kingdom, to find what was the best thing to do, the magic that had transformed them was so…chaotic in nature that revert them could take decades.
A lot of elves had the opinion that the humans didn’t even deserve to be reverted, it had being their own stupidity that resulted in their undoing, the right thing was to exterminate them and put an end to these hybrid humans...

The final solution of the king kept most of the people happy, it was much too cruel to eradicate them, but it wasn’t the responsibility of the elves to save them either
Surely the citizens seem to enjoy their new pets, even when some were more troublesome than others.
But while you feed them and keep them clean they were really trustful.
Sometimes there were some rebellious ones but a simple hypnosis spell eliminated that trouble.
Their minds were extremely malleable and easy to train if you had the right kind of orders.

I'm not sure how people are interpreting it. I think anything out in obvious public is good. One from a few days ago was deemed not really connected since they were in the woods...but I guess it's whatever you feel? We're not really that stringent, as much as it may seem.

You've been acting very entitled lately from what I've been seeing. You think it's you're right to have others do things that you otherwise should being doing yourself if you want it done so bad. Manners go along way and if you keep that attitude up many people won't take Kindly or politely to your requests next time.
