I started off just wanting to translate the text in the image, but the JPG artifacts in it started to bother me a lot. So I did a quick search and found a less artifact-filled version. This involved re-makign the gradient for her eyes, and I went with slightly more even colors. I also used my tablet to smooth out the borders of her pupils, so hopefully the final effect is a nice clean repost of Grimest's script, just translated to English.
As Grimest made the original post, I did leave the watermark Grimest added, and made the final re-encode as a PNG.
It might just be me but I think it's a little bit redundant to put both versions in the pool? They'll be linked together by the parent/child post anyway.
I wasn't entirely sure about that, and I felt it was safer to make sure it's in the pool, is all. It is a bit redundant, I agree. If someone cares enough to remove my translations from the pool, I won't complain, but without further commentary, it's not a big enough deal to me to remove them.

I talked to Vann about it. The parent/child link is enough for now so I'll make the changes.
Also, just to clarify, I think it's awesome that you made hard translations! I didn't want to sound like I was knocking your work, it's appreciated. We talked it over and decided the pool is for original works specifically. On the plus side, there is always the direct link via parent/child post so it's technically attached to the pool still.

Well, I wouldn't call them original works. :P
But things like alternative translations need not be added to the pool for themes, if only because it makes it harder to get a more accurate count of theme participation. If someone is interested in the image, they'll click it long before the realize it's in Spanish, so they'll almost definitely see the translated version, too.
So don't feel discouraged or anything, because...
