It's tagged with Solaris because of the Black Sun symbol on the uniform. As the creator of Solaris I figured it was justifiable to decide what was his handiwork and what wasn't :)

Mind clarifying on who this character is? If this character isn't "solaris" then you should tag their name instead.

Also I fixed up the tags a bit, for future reference check the tagging guidelines under the wiki tab up top and the tags tab for a list of tags we use. Thanks! ^^

I read over the wiki for tagging, but as this was my first upload, I was sure I'd get SOMETHING wrong, heh. I also used the "original character" tag because it's a nameless, generic character. The Solaris tag was included as I've seen many pieces of work involving him or characters bearing his symbol that have been uploaded by others, and I figured I should start putting up my own; ironically the only person that really hasn't uploaded any Solaris art has been the character's actual creator :) I can refrain from that in the future if his symbolism is used but he, himself, is not.

No worries lol. The "original" tag is used for original characters. It seems like that tag is still longering so I'll have to take a look at that after work :P

As for Solaris, I'll look into it. Generally the concept is to tag only characters directly in the image, but I'm not familiar with the source. I'll check out!

Not that we ever talked much, but I remember your work from back in the day, Zombifier. It's good to see you posting stuff again, but while I don't mean to offend, this one does seem a little below par. I know that you did tend more towards facial expressions like this one to convey a dazed or resisting state. But I do have to agree with the earlier post that this one doesn't quite convey it. If I wasn't familiar with your work and the "black sun" symbol, then I'd probably have no idea what was meant to be going on with this one.

I hope that things are going well for you, and if you're getting back into drawing then I wish you luck there as well.

I agree it's pretty clear I've been out of the game for a while. Drawing is like anything else, you get worse at it the longer you go without doing it. This was the first attempt to get back on the horse, I'm hopeful I'll get back to where I was and further if I can stay consistent with it.
