I watched the first few episodes of Bakamonegatari, but feel like I should pick it back up again. However so much more in the series has come out. What order should I watch everything in for the best experience?

A lot of people ask this question and it's a really easy one to answer. Just watch them in the order they aired, which is:

-Bakemonogatari
-Nisemonogatari
-Nekomonogatari Black
-Monogatari Second Season
-Hanamonogatari
-Tsukimonogatari

Also, read Kizumonogatari before watching Nisemonogatari.

While this might be a good idea, and does reflect the novels' publication order, I think most Monogatari fans haven't actually read Kizu. If you just want to watch anime and not also read a light novel you should be fine IMO.

Also Shaft is going to animate Kizu... eventually... when Half-Life 3 and Tsukihime 2 come out...

If you're going to spend the time to watch everything, I'd really recommend reading Kizu in the proper place after Bake. It's isn't that important for Nise, but after that you're missing some important context if you don't know the details of what happened in Kizu.

Without spoiling too much, Shinobu's conversation with Araragi in Nisemonogatari doesn't make very much sense if you skipped kizu, and you miss out on a LOT of context for shinobu time in second season. I say this as someone who only read kizu after second season.

Kizu is one of the only light novels actually translated, and the translation is actually quite good. Here's a link for anyone interested, it was actually my favorite part of monogatari.
