How? I fail to see how she's hypnotized. No text, no obvious hypnosis, I don't see what leads this to be a hypnosis pic. If anything, it's just a pic of fluttershy, nothing hypnosis related at all.

Its based on eps 1&2 of season 5 where her cutie mark is ripped off and she is equalised. She is then locked into a cottage and given bombarded with messages with no food, water or sleep until her mind snaps and she joins the cult

I don't blame you for not knowing since you gotta keep up with the actual show to know what's going on here. But basically from what I know is there's a new season where everybody has the same cutie mark in a new town, and they're all kind of mind controlled into having the same super duper happy attitude and stuff. As far as what I've learned that's what's going on here, Fluttershy has the equal cutie mark and because of that it's messing with her mind.

If you want, you can just think of this as an alternate ending to the season 5 opener where Fluttershy fully accepts her equalization (as can be seen from her mark and slightly off happy grin) her eyes also seem to have become more empty, signifying her losing the will to resist the mantra of equality. You may have also noticed her new mane-style, the same one every mare in a certain town has as a sign of conformity

Okay, I get this pic is of the season 5, but does it actually show any hypnosis that anybody outside of the show would notice? Not really, it's just a picture. If there was text on it, then perhaps, but as it is it's not a very good addition to this site.

It's not like anyone would "inherently" recognize Kaa eyes as a hypnosis signifier if they weren't familiar with The Jungle Book, or the red-ringed eyes from Code Geass, or whatever. She has an explicit marking that, within the context of the original source, apparently indicates brainwashing. As far as I'm concerned, that qualifies it. (I haven't seen the source, so this is assuming that what people have said in the comments is accurate.)
