I wasn't happy with the spirals, so I did it again using a spiral image rather than just using the pen tool to draw them.

The first one was just using the pen tool in photoshop to making curing lines. This one I took an image of a hypnosis spiral, took the spiral out of it, put it in this image, put a gradient from white to the green of Starlight's magic in it, then copied it into their eyes and stretched it to fit, then lowered the opacity. Luna was trickier because she has translucent hair, so I had to select the part under the hair, duplicate the spiral erase that part of the spiral, set it's opacity to 50% then merge it with the other spiral. I've actually done some more editing on this pic but I'm not sure if I should post it because that could be spammy.

That looks really nice! I might have to steal it for a manip.
