You may notice I really love this girl. I don't know if anyone is interested in where she comes from, but if you are, let me know and i'll explain a bit more about Maxine here. Anyway, I really do love how this one turned out. I like to go back into my folders and look back at this one a lot. I love the blush, how it's so strong, covering her face. Those floating hearts, her bold, pink eye rings, her cute mantra. Her mouth hanging open just a little bit. So cute. She may be getting brainwashed or conditioned to fall in love here, but I almost kind of designed this with the idea in mind that she actually wanted to be put deeper into love with mind control. hehe.

Alrighty.

She is Maxine Mars. She is a character that was created by my best friend, Vic around 2004 for his webcomic that lasted a while. It wasn't hypno-related, but my friend always knew that was my fetish so he completely was always fine with me thinking about his characters like that,. Me and him would always draw a lot of his characters for each other and all that stuff, for a long time. And i'd often draw a lot of her. Over time, I actually have really developed a strong like for his Maxine character specifically, for a buncha reasons. I'm kind of enamored with her, still. ^_^; That's why this exists.

He (Vic) is not particularly a hypno artist per-se, but he has absolutely no problems with it, and he is completely cool with his characters being depicted for any kind of fanservice. Between the two of us, i'm way more into hypnotism than he is, so you might not see a lot of hypno pictures on his gallery (though there are a few on there that were inspired by me) but you CAN see a LOT more of her and a lot of his other characters. The original comic isn't around in it's full entirety anymore, as it stopped updating in 2010 (yet he will occasionally draw the characters, still. Some archived excerpts of the old comic can be found on his website here: vicfieger.com/c.html (just scroll down to the "Dubmarine" section, that was the title of it.)

He's also made a lot of famous online fonts over the years and has written two books, one of which is an art book. Also, he's a much better artist than me.

Maxine's personality as depicted by Vic is that she's rather silly, with a penchant for mischief, and random, nonsensical humor. I find her utterly adorable and I like to draw art of her hypnotized or in her underwear a lot. ^_^;

Anyway, sorry for all that background, since some of it was non-hypo related. I love to do hypno art related to his characters, and I definitely have fictional character crushes on.. just about all of 'em. So, I use them as the basis for a lot of what I like to draw for fun. I love Maxine the most. Daisy is a close second.
