There's something....wrong about this picture....does it seem like her head is twisted around? or is it just really late..?

The neck does definitely look wrong. I think it's a combination of how the perspective on the head is drawn combined with the way that all the tenta-beast stuff sticking off of her kind of throws the eye off.

the tentacles covering the crease in her elbows give the impression her right arm is facing the other way, and to a lesser extent the left

Get past all that and it's not a bad pic. The face and idea behind the whole thing is awesome.
