I can see it being that. Here's why, but it's a spoiler:

By the reasoning of the series, Kyubey's race is pretty much a cold, unemotional, logical hivemind of sorts, and this appears to be Madoka being changed into one of them. So it kinda fits mind control from what I can see. It's like Madoka being assimilated, basically.

I wouldn't really call it corruption, turning into own species to be lover isn't exactly evil, just standard mind control with a mix.

Although, when I think about it....

...i'm not sure why Kyubey WOULD do this, since it kind of messes with the plan he and his kind have in the series, and makes no sense to really do. But eh. It is what it is, as far as what the picture itself seems to be depicting, nonetheless.

I guess it's just terribly non-canon. Which makes sense, fan-art and all.

Depends during main series it would be counter productive, but if you assume this as an outcome from after the Rebellion movie it could be viewed as working in several ways.
