Not really, you're exageratting greatly, and you're letting the fandom think for you XD. She's relatively safe it's just she has had bad things happen to her. I can think of at least 10 other girls who've had it worse

Not sure what you're saying....,She's not useless, you just have a bad sense of judgment, if it wasn't for her in the anime at least, Atem would not have been able to pass on, and there's various other parts...too

Shit, she spends *most* of the Battle City arc under Marik's mind control, although as a sleeper agent.
Alexis/Asuka is probably more useless, by virtue of not even contributing that much, but she's also super fucking eye candy-ish. ... of course, she also gets mind controlled like fix episodes in (by Titan, the surprisingly realistic hypnotist).
ARC-V is, thankfully, sidestepping those expectations by simply having Selena and Yuzu being largely out of focus (which makes sense, since it's targeted at young boys) but still competent duelists and important to the plot, and Yuzu is the only female character to ever defeat a YGmonz protagonist.

Tea/Anzu is pretty much the most useless YGmonz girl. The anime is slightly better by virtue of having the DOMA/Waking the Dragons filler arc, where she acts as Atem's moral compass, but outside of that arc, Tea's role is largely to be a (usually mind-controlled) damsel.

I'd have to disagree with saying she's compltely useless, she has her moments and if it wasn't for her several times here and there the gang would have failed. If you've read each manga then yes she has several parts, but others she is useful. Even in her useless times she acts as a Spirit Booster for Yugi/Atem and gives him something to fight for.
He actually just drugged her XD
5D's also had Akiza be useful you seem to forget that and ZEXAL had Rio course she was evil but she was a great duelist.
Not true Anzu beat Joey and was better then him for quite awhile =P

So if you think like her doesn't that make you useless too in your opinion?
