Based on animation style + reading the manga recently: probably episode 2 of Crystal, where the entire plot is the Dark Kingdom trying to brainwash Ami's cram school.

At the seminar, the disguised Youma gives Ami a CD which contains coursework used for the school's curriculum. Ami, unaware that this is a trap machinized by the Dark Kingdom, accepts the disk and uses it for her studies, causing her to fall into into a stupor-like trance.

Yeah there's a crap ton of mind control in Sailor Moon Crystal. Was the original manga like that? They must have thought it was too sexy and removed it from the first anime. :D

Yeah, especially if you count the "prequel", Codename: Sailor V. Basically every plot in CSV is mind-control related, and a massive amount of the manga is because they don't have monsters-of-the-week.

Basically every shot of usagi in crystal could easily be manipped. As she always seems to have an expression akin to someone zoning out with their mouth agape
