Purely btw, if there is such technology it's probably how Steven was made.

Canon (via twitter) has already confirmed that Rose shaped herself a human reproductive system, but it was incompatible with her own biology and trying to have a child when she literally wasn't built that way is what killed her.

As for the manip, I like it, though it needs more derisive commentary on earth species - of course it'd have a weakened mind, it's from an EARTH creature!

Its not my manip, I just tried to get in Peridot's mind... that is, pre-craziness Peridot.

Also, I still believe that Rose had to fuse with Steven in order to give the latter sentience. And that if Steven die Rose will appear.

Close. It's implied that Rose didn't "die" persay. Steven has the exact same Gem in the exact same place with the exact same powers. It seems that when Steven was born Rose retreated into her Gem. Said Gem then fused with Steven.

So, basically mine theory.

Also, not same powers. Look at this list:
Healing Tears -> Healing Salivia. Similar, but more reliable, it's easier to spit than to start crying.
Shield -> Shield and Bubble Shield. Sure, normal seems stronger, but in new form it can protect more people at same time. And it still can be used in old version.
Phytokinesis -> Same, with smaller control. It's due to lack of knowledge, not lack of power, however.
Notice whole new list of powers. Steven have some unique abilities (linking in dreams? Sensing emotions? Producing own EMP pulse?)

Also:
"Strangely, when asked how she decided to kill off Rose, Rebecca Sugar cryptically replied "IS she dead?""

I believe that baby Steven is dominant personality here. That's why he is developing bit faster than normal human, rather than starting at level higher than Rose. Her influence is how he is able to learn new things so fast. If I'd have to guess, Steven's attempts of healing corrupted gems are also effect of his mothers personality...

Just a note about the shield. Steven has combined the two. He can manifest the bubble on it'sown, but whenever he summons the shield it has the crystaline appearance of the bubble instead of a solid appearance.
