Commission! I only ever watched a handful of episodes of Code Lyoko but its my understanding that this could have easily happened in the show and probably did.

Ulrich and Odd are literally the only two people on the show that weren't possessed, mind controlled, or replaced with doppelgangers. Code Lyoko is MC heavy as fuck.
