is that alien on the right Ahsoka?
No. Snips doesn't have such a large head ridge. I think that's Alia Sukra or whatever her name is.

I cannot tell but it is for sure a Togruta. That is awesome ^^
(Also I think it is funny how carbon-freezing is viewed as a standart-procedure in the star wars universe, although it was just an emergency solution for transporting Han Solo (and testing if humans can survive carbon-freezing))

if that was a test, then what about that Clone Wars episode where Anakin and Obi-Wan got put in carbonite to avoid detection from the droids' life scanners?

It's funny that this discussion popped up right after I listened to the Ugnaughts episode from the SWIC podcast. Lando might have been referring to the Cloud City carbon-freezers specifically instead of as a whole, since he did say it was of poor quality and we can assume that nobody wanted to get frozen there to test them at all. Or the Clone Wars instance was kept a secret since it was an espionage situation.

that last one is a possibility. and the thing with Lando is too. he's kinda...what's the word? hard to trust.

No, that's not Aayla Secura, she's a Twi'Lek Jedi. You mean Shaak Ti.

Well, that is exactly what I mean. Originally carbon-freezing was never meant to be common place in the star wars universe. However, in the extended universe (and the Clone Wars, although I would say the series belongs to the extended universe) it is treated as a common thing to do, to avoid lifescanners for example. Even in the star wars mmo, wich takes place 3000 years before Episode IV, carbon-freezing is used to transport criminals for example.
