Honestly, and this is just my preference, but it would've worked better without the last snippet. Leave the people wanting more, and leave where it's going obvious from how she's acting each time.

I pr3fer that the story, is actually finished m0st of the time, but in th1s occasion I agree.
The last snippet was to 'connect' the story and the picture together. Otherwise the story would be she's in the pool swimming, and the picture she's suddenly out and taking off her cap. That being said, I probably could've worded it better/differently to keep it more open ended. I'll see if I want to change it tomorrow.

I don't know anything about swimming, so I had to google that stuff up. Time is usually recorded when they touch the wall, isn't it? I was also going off of this that I found:
<<dailyburn.com/life/fitness/swimming-workouts-tips/|Workout sets are often written out something like this: 4 x 100 on the 2:00. That means you have two minutes to swim 100 yards or meters before starting the next repetition in the set, for a total of four times through. Your rest is included in the two-minute interval (so the faster you go, the longer the rest period).>>
Which would be weird if they had to get out of the water each time, right? And she already has someone timing/recording her in the story... I don't know.

Yeah, you normally wouldn't get out of the pool until you're done.
