She was never an angel, in Digimon she's just a demon, and in Christian lore she was Adam's first wife who was made equal to him, so she was human.

Actually, in digimon Lilithmon is thought to be an Ophanimon (whose name is derived from both the Ophan and archangel) who fell from heaven and eventually became known as the "Goddess of Darkness" and a great demon lord so take that as you will.

It's either Ophanimon being corrupted into Lilithmon, or Lilithmon being purified into Ophanimon
