Yeah, you can. Taking control of her is the only way to get her to join your party at the moment as well.

UGH! Can you tell me how to control her? first attempt always ended with her resisting and all other attempts fail.

Sure, I'll put it in a spoiler tag so anyone who wants to figure it out on their own isn't spoiled.

You need to cast Confusion (which you learn by casting Suppression in battle enough times) on her first, then cast Suppression on her before she leaves.

Also, there is a forum thread for the game here where it will probably be easier for me to notice new replies compared to comments, since new comments get buried rapidly sometimes: hypnohub.net/forum/show/16818
