Actually true. If something seems illogical or contradicts the source material's canon, it utterly breaks my suspension of disbelief.

Having reread it the blue dialogue gives no indication of it being human in nature. It's in all caps while text we KNOW is coming for a human(ish) source uses capitalization properly, and the tone comes off as mechanical in nature. Further, fail safe systems such as this are not manually controlled. They have manual overrides, but they're just that. Overrides. There is no indication of a person overriding the fail safe.

So while the manipper's intent may have been it was a human sealing the door, not only was it not portrayed properly, but it goes against actual fail safe procedure.

Good image, interesting idea, poor execution.

As you can see here, this is a wonderfully executed manip picture, taking place in an area that holds the nature of a spin-off. Of course not to be considered canon material!
