that figure in the corner doesn't like Renamon. for one thing, the fur is the wrong color. maybe it's a different species that just looks like Renamon. like Goblinmon and Shamanmon

Given the number of purple and black renamon pics that exist on this very hub... I think we'll have to trust the artist on this one.

huh. there's a lot of Renamon, but not a lot of Rika. there needs to be more of that. and maybe some with both Rika and Renamon

Well, like, goblinmon and shamanmon are basically recolors, like agumon/blackagumon/snowagumon, so they're saying maybe it's a renamon subspecies, basically. [and renamon's whole line DOES have a purple/silver lookin' virus alternative evolution path, I don't think it starts til adult stage tho']

exactly. can get a little confusing sometimes for some people who don't know the show. another couple example would be Gatomon/BlackGatomon/Tailmon. hey, now that I think about it, I don't think we have any Gatomon's of the black variety

well, even so, it seems weird to me to see Renamon in a color other than yellow. it's like seeing Vegeta be super nice and Goku being the merciless invader

Out of the 38 renamon pictures on this site, 6 are black, 2 are purple, and 1 is white.

That's the nice thing about non-canon stuff! It doesn't have to be exactly 100% correct to still be acceptable, appropriate, etc.
