You guys do know we have a xcom pic with a '40'-rating? I wouldn't put much stock in ratings anyway, they are literally all over the place. I've seen great art staying below 10, while some simple text edit manips (like my own, though I guess people like them) get far more. It's not even entirely about how popular something is, I often just use favs as bookmarks to find more obscure and well hidden pics I like that I can't simply find with a tag or three clicks on the main page. Hell, favs don't even cover the hordes of lurkers (you need to have an account to fav) that might like your pic.
If your goal is to simply get as many ratings as possible you'd best hire Sebastian or Zko or you simply just stop caring about the rating-system and commission the art you want to exist from the artist of your choosing :).
I assure you, Dantus, I have ZERO interest in the ratings of pics I post, primarily because I never draw them.
