Wouldn't that be even more reason for caption_only? Caption only is applied to any picture that doesn't look inherently mc but the caption makes it mc. So if it was manipped, that means it would show signs of mc but otherwise, the original creator would have to design it with mind control in mind. At least to my understanding.

Used when the post is a manip with added text where the the manip itself would not be considered MC without the text.
Even if the picture portion does have MC, this tag also applies to manips where the manipper only added text to an otherwise unedited image.
Images that are part of a sequential set that, at some point, involve an image that does not have this tag are exempt. This is because sequences often involve images that deal with a before-trance and after-trance sort of thing.
It's specifically for manips that only add text to an unaltered image. If you want to argue a change in definition, post in the tags thread.

Still think it's kinda weird way how the tag works, but it's not worth starting a discussion over (again).
I also find it strange, I would have thought it applied to anything with a caption but not mc, but yeah, no reason to start an argument over it.
