What if...Toriel had more magic abilities than just shooting and controlling fiery projectiles? What if Her SOUL had some...entrancing properties to them at Her beck and call?

And then Frisk stayed in the Ruins for all eternity. Flowey continued to cause chaos and destruction through out the Underground, Asgore gave up hope of a peaceful solution and used the Human Souls to storm Human Cities, slaughtering who knows how many. Returning to the Underground he used the Souls he'd taken from his attack to destroy the barrier, unleashing an army upon the world. But worse than that, he unleashed Flowey.
Flowey then stole 7 Souls from Asgore and used them to assume the form of Asriel. As Asriel, and with the power of a God, he caused the universe to collapse in on itself, laughing maniacally the entire time, for he never absorbed enough souls to regain his kindness, and thus never relinquished his hold over reality.
@EoD Flowey can't do much when frisk exists underground, he's had hundreds of years to try and take the souls, and admits that he never could get to them.
Asgore is much against the conflict of leaving the underground in the first place. That and as much as goat mom wouldn't be down for it, He is totally okay with raising frisk in the underground peacefully. (at least he is the first time you bring it up with him....)
Alphys though... Who knows what kind of deviate, awful plans she has for frisk, god knows how close she must be to the thought of ripping the determination right out of you.
