This one is just plain lazy...

I mean, I didn't even have to come up with this scene, it was right there in the book! Ok, so so it was from Sara's point of view and skipped directly to the point where the effect wore off, thus being a lamentable waste of a good hypno scene, but still...

Anyhow, for a less oblique description of what's going on here, the tattooed lady, Apparation, has among her tricks on that cause whoever looks at it to fall in love with her. Here she's using it on Sara Pezzini, bearer of the Witchblade, and under its effect, the lovestruck Sara is apparently compliant enough to take Apparition back home with her, show her where she keeps her gun, let her take said gun, then sit down and chat with her until the effect eventually wears off some time later.
