"their systems overwrite the chromosomes in the womb" I mean... is silly, but I could argue that the "overwrite" part means that no mather what gender the creature haves, their mothers' bodies reverts them into females, think it as, a mini genderbender?¿?¿?
i thought about it, and i figure that if you wanted it to be more descriptive of the science it would be that the womb has been modified to reject any sperm that has a Y chromosome, ensuring that any pregnancies would be female only.
