I like to think that Kaa would achieve his goal of being in the real world with these girls by pulling a "Soos and the Real Girl" but in reverse. Instead of him downloading their brains in the net, he downloads himself into their brains.

Well I do see how you would think that, but I was thinking rather than Kaa directly possessing these girls and basically turning them into him, Kaa here would be like that Teen Titans episode "Haunted", where Slade messed with Robin's head causing him to hallucinate that Slade was really there and Robin could see and feel everything the Slade hallucination did to him but nobody else could.
