Really? To me they look pretty bland; it's always a simple design that can be easily replicated (though, that's all of Jimryu's stuff imo).

It's a matter of opinion... i consider Jimryu in my top 5 too, it doesn't make him a "mediocre" artist neither I a close horizon taste. His drawings are amazing, good thing yours are better! =/
