Under the circumstances it's just too annoying to see her neutralized so easily, at least to me. That and the enemy regrouping so efficiently [up to the victories that've taken several chapters to earn basically being negated] just feels really cheap from a story standpoint. Then again as if anyone reads Fairy Tail for the plot.

Fairy Tail started off strong, coming off the heels of Rave Master and several other successful short series. Then part way in Mashima realized he basically has an infinite money machine and FT started declining in quality.
