The "cheekiness" is probably to get people to actually look for signs of MC before instantly flagging due to lack of stereotypically obvious signs.

Yes, we get it. It's not "non-hypno", it's just so insignificantly hypnosis related anyone giving it a quick glance over would assume it was.

Insignificantly hypnosis related? It's hidden from a quick glance sure, but that boy's definitely in a trance. If you look at the source and the context of the other artworks on FA, this artist does hypnosis stuff pretty often.

If you can already see the eyes and mouth right away or not jump to getting this banned, than obviously you don't need to worry about it.
I'm just trying to help. I don't consider most everyone to be quick to jump to conclusions, I just want to prepare for the few who are. I'm not a super passive aggressive person.

I personally believe the hypno is pretty self-evident once you see it, but I could also see technical limitations preventing some users from seeing it in the first place.
