Been a while but I think it was more of a gag. Still a great series.

And they put her outfit in Splatoon because of how popular she already was. I loved the show so much that her outfit was among the first that I bought when I started playing.

There was a whole episode where Ika goes around doing the hypnosis thing, but it's largely played for laughs. I think there may have been some maid action.

I believe it's two seasons of 12 episodes each, plus 3 or so OVA episodes. I haven't seen the OVAs but I really loved the series, it was so fun and charming

Also the English episode in season 2 is one of my favorite episodes of any anime ever, no joke. "Eat a duck I must?"

I've seen the OVAs and they are pretty good. And yeah the English episode is among the funniest thing I've ever watched.
