At least partly because she's based on (or sort of an alternate reality version of) a prince from the Asuka period in Japan.

To be precise, she's basically the feminized version of prince shotoku, a famous enough person to be on the japanese yen. if memory serves, the 10000 yen note, to be exact. Thats approximately 100 bucks.

The 3 others in her group, seiga, futo, and tojiko, are also famous people related to prince shotoku. teachers, former enemies, and vassals. the fifth member, the jiang-shi yoshika, is the only one with no known background.

As well, i'd believe this cap, because prince shotoku himself was actually something of a genius at reading people, even from a very young age.

One thing to look at is getting the plugins for paint.net that lets you easily get outlining for the text as you really risk getting the 'will' which covers the collar of the cape.

Also Soma that version of the Yen with him on it is a bit dated and has been out of circulation for a while. (Did some fun research for that!)
