Is there a plot?
Some members of an exploration party end up having to make an emergency landing on an unexplored planet. Unfortunately for them, one of the locals (the owner of the multitude of tentacles) seems to believe itself a good host and is quite quick to welcome them with it's presence. It's actually a beast with quite potent psychic abilities... and thanks to the liquid its tentacles are dripping and coated with, it's sway over the crew is quite strong.
