It's a not too uncommon stylistic choice in furry art to not do detail work with the fur. This can lead to things like solid-looking tails and, in particularly bad examples, looking like the character simply has odd coloured skin.

I'm not referring to the fact that there is no fur detail, that would be fine. I'm saying it has the exact same colour and shading as her skin.
